People go for the social / dance side with play space available, not for a structured kink class. Some Saturdays have a dress code. Themed parties show up a lot. Hours run late — later than a lot of clubs claim — but still confirm on their site.

The Private Affair (Port Deposit, MD)

This is the one people mean when they say there's a big club "in Baltimore." It's not in Baltimore. The Private Affair is in Port Deposit, northeast Maryland, a few minutes off I-95 on private rural property. Almost 25 years open, roughly 10,000 square feet. Destination drive, not a neighborhood hop.

Members only, 21+, BYOB, cash at the door. You apply online with a photo, get approved, then take a club-hosted tour on your first visit before you get the run of the place. Reservations matter; they lock the door to new arrivals at 11pm. Dress code is more business-casual / dress-to-impress than dungeon jeans. Saturdays are the main social nights. If a friend in DC says they drove "up to the big Maryland club," AFAIK this is usually what they mean.

Tabu (Catonsville, MD)

Tabu at 1115 N. Rolling Road is the Baltimore-adjacent lifestyle club that actually sits near Baltimore. Catonsville, specifically. Also members-only, 21+, BYOB. Membership is built around couples and single women; single men need a sponsor, and the club will not help you find one. Lounge and dance floor upstairs, private suites downstairs. Friday/Saturday party nights with themes on the calendar.

Smaller than The Private Affair, shorter drive from the Beltway. Different night, different crowd. I mention both because "the Maryland club" is ambiguous and Port Deposit vs Catonsville is not a small miss.

Baltimore Playhouse (Southwest Baltimore)

If you want kink and you want an actual Baltimore city address, that's Baltimore Playhouse at 3010 Washington Blvd. Nonprofit social club, contributorship required (Maryland private-club rules), guests only if they're on the list.
